Our Story

When I began working on Pitchermen’s chocolate-covered dates, the choices were obvious, not because they were easy, but because they were right.

I could have chosen cheaper dates. I didn’t.
I could have used lighter chocolate. I didn’t.
I could have sourced lower-grade nuts. I didn’t.

I chose Medjool dates, high-cocoa dark chocolate, and quality walnuts because good ingredients don’t need improving, they just need to be used properly. That principle guides everything we make.

My approach to food comes from an old idea:
eat less, but eat well.
A form of restraint practiced by scholars long before modern nutrition existed. It’s a philosophy that matters even more today, when food is everywhere and very little of it feels real.

Pitchermen was built on that belief, not to lecture anyone, but to offer an option that feels considered. Something made with intention, not excess.

People who serve people don’t do it for profit alone. They do it because the act itself matters. When someone chooses a Pitchermen product, I want it to come with a sense of trust, a quiet understanding that this was made properly.

We’re starting with confectionery because that’s where the gap is the widest: too much noise, too little substance. If we can make sweets better, we can make anything better.

And this is only the beginning.
